Real-life daughter of former Dr Who to star as TV Time Lord's daughter
Last updated at 14:09pm on 6th May 2008

Her father memorably played a Time Lord, but he'll be crushed to know that he's not his daughter's favourite.

Actress Georgia Moffett, 23, has plumped for current Doctor David Tennant - over her famous father Peter Davison, 57 who played the Doctor in the eighties - calling him the sexiest ever Time Lord.

Georgia told The Daily Star: "David is dishy, isn't he? He's not only a good-looking but he is such a lovely, sweet guy.

"Obviously I'll get into trouble for saying this. I'd like to say the fifth Doctor was sexiest because it's my dad.

But she added: "It's very odd referring to him as 'sexy' so I can't really say that.

"There are plenty of women who still think of Peter as a sex symbol though."

Georgia will make her debut as 37-year-old Tennant's daughter on this Saturday's episode of Doctor Who in an episode entitled - The Doctor's Daughter.

Tennant's Doctor returns to Earth and discovers he has petite, blonde offspring in the form of Georgia.

The Time Lord is shocked when a girl starts calling him "Dad". But all is not what it seems as Jenny has been created from his DNA, which has been stolen from him.

Georgia is not the first descendant of a Doctor that has appeared on the show.

David Troughton, son of Doctor No. 2 Patrick Troughton, appeared in Doctor No. 3's story The Curse of Peladon in 1972.

as my usual eye candy ( ) on torchwood is taking an in between seasons break and no news yet for season 3, i have a new eye candy on moonlight, both josef and mick are uber cute. this friday's ep is no exception. we are further revealed the past of our hero mick and we are further shown the hearts of these two vamps albeit non beating. a cute dialogue b/w beth and mick..."should i be jealous? beth says, "no, ...but it makes me feel desirable!" and it's uber cute on sophia myles! one thing though, there was one scene when josef and mick couldn't smell or hear beth behind them while talking about regret and family??? ah well it was nearly mehmeh time for the vamps so that could be the reason. but sigh, i believe we are only waiting for two more eps, or ONE more before the cliff hanger ep and season one ends as shown here

now, although i stopped playing gta when it turned hip hop at part III, i have no qualms about letting my kid play it at a certain age. and let's not shake a finger at my face because i aint got no kids. i was a child of no parental guidance at my formidable ages between the ages of seven and nine, it was all my dad had to do to win me back! which goes to my point, parental guidance, not control.

Politicos and special interest groups have a new favorite fall guy when it comes to explaining US crime and anti-social behavior -- video games. Since Grand Theft Auto IV's release last week, MADD officially condemned the game, Chicago banned GTA IV ads from appearing on city busses, and New York mayor Michael Bloomberg and Presidental candidate Barack Obama both saw fit to make mention of what looks to be the best-selling game of all time. What follows is a series of real-life controversies based on Grand Theft Auto.

i've been meaning to rate or review torchwood since it came out but was afraid that my words would only muddle your opinions of it. what few things i can say about it are: i can't wait for its weekly episodes, i so dig the sense of humor, it's THE/my perfect mix of american with british with sex and pun all jumbled up in one funny line after another, isa lang yung panget dun, and it's scifi-fantasy. the last ep this season was even better as our beloved spike returns and with him gives us a better insight into harkness' character.
hope you all can watch and enjoy both season's 1 and 2! below is daemon's tv's invite to enjoy it, too!

TORCHWOOD - John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness and James Marsters as Captain John Hart

I need to repeat it one more time, do not miss tonight’s season 2 finale episode of TORCHWOOD, “Exit Wounds.”
Especially since we’ll have to wait a long time to watch the season 3 of Torchwood, I urge you to enjoy this last episode as much as you can, which I will say again is brilliant.
For now check out a promo, a preview clip and more pictures for Torcwhood “Exit Wounds” below.

Review: DOCTOR WHO “Partners in Crime” (S04E01)

Doctor Who - David Tennant as The Doctor, Catherine Tate as Donna Noble

DOCTOR WHO is back!

What is probably my favorite TV show on television returned last Friday for a whole new fourth season. David Tennant has put back his Doctor shoes (well I’m not sure technically he has special Doctor shoes, but you get the point) and found a new partner in crime (pun not intended), Donna (Catherine Tate).

I have to say that I am always saddened when a partner of the Doctor leaves, but so far the replacements have been pretty good. Even though none of them can replace the previous partner, each of them bring their own personality and have their own relationship with the Doctor. And so Donna made her technically second appearance (she was also in “The Runaway Bride”) in Doctor Who. And even though she can’t replace Rose or Martha, she fits just right in as a different, fun, new partner.

The scene where the Doctor and her finally see each other was hilarious. I think it definitely helped in my accepting of her as the new partner.

Oh and is it wrong that I found the “fat” babies cute?

Overall it was a great season opener, the Doctor saved the day once more and just can’t wait to see what other new adventures the Doctor and Donna will get into this season.

Finally I would like to say, what is the deal with Rose being back at the end of the episode?!!! Could she be back in future episodes? Does that mean we are going to get the emotional reunion I was hoping for?

Don’t forget to watch Doctor Who Fridays at 9pm on Sci Fi.

for a silly fear of giving less than a 5 on a rating as it might come back to me, i give this show, that i marathoned the whole sunday, a 5. i should do reviews of other shows, stargate topping my list, but am too lazy and am too embarrassed as i cant write nor spell for all my education. i, for the most part rate the show a 4, the music they play at the end is hit or miss for me. especially playing Evanesence "My Immortal", kamusta naman, uggggh, i was half expecting hallelujah by jeff buckley!
OO NGA PALA, i rate it a 5, mwehehehe. and i digress, the show is about a vampire and a private detective, but a youngling as in has been turned in the 20th century only, who regrets being immortal and thinks of himself a monster, and is in love with a human, (don't worry not a slayer) sounds familiar, yes yes, but i suppose as ginny has said, hollywood is running out of ideas and just keep churning out the same things every decade. the human female is a character known to a few of us as the girl in the fireplace and once lady love of doctor who's david tennant.
the show is set in los angeles and describes how the lead character, mick, balances his human and vampire interactions.
but from the first ep, he reveals that he has been watching over a human since she was a child, and now that she's grown up, plot twists and turns make their relationship engaging and kept me up the whole sunday.
somehow, awa ng dios it's still airing on cbs every friday. i have now caught up, mid season, and had just finished the 13th episode. it's ok to follow, and the show lacks non-good looking people so that's a bonus. i miss the camera man though, , mainly because i am used to him on alias anyway. he was only on a couple of eps.
i've also read on tv.com that the fans are already "invested" and maybe i am now as well.

saw this from trent's site, pinkisthenewblog.com, i actually find it kewl that a couple of 16-17 year olds are geekie-freaks enough to even remember stephen king and NOT do the usual hallmark, sweet valley high inspired blahblah.
